Clock

What could be the best I can long for before I leave?
With the fullest sense of it being impossible
I want to walk back the clock
I wish.....I wish
If I had the control over its needles, if I ruled its dial
I would have forced it to run back
To freeze its needles at the happiest points of my life
To erase the saddest of my past
To stop for short whiles counting the boulders of mistakes I have gathered
To see the pains that I have caused for others
With a hope of finding traces of smile caused by me
To know my roots, to rework my yesterday
But Nay, I am a man of now
And past is locked and sealed
So all the daydreamers!!
Better make it now
And adjust yourself with the truth of clock
It is sharp as its needles.

Confessions

I cannot ask your pardon when I am your killer
I cannot wipe your tears that you shed because of me
I cannot smile at you after I slapped on your face
I cannot try to be your rescuer, from the bottomless pit to which I threw you
I cannot give you asylum after I forced you from your house
I cannot respect you after I insulted you and all you called yours
I cannot be humble after I proved to be proud
I cannot be right after I proved to be wrong
I cannot be an angel after I proved to be a devil
Still, my dear, I am a human
And I believe
That you cannot turn down my plea

Castles

I make castles often and quite often
As all the lazy people do...in dreams
My breath, my pat, my care and my force
All I apply in making its shape
Without a thought of what it is
And when the mighty tide comes ashore
It takes away all my efforts
The truth is might and hence the God
The castles of my ego are all the lies
So should I be the happiest
When the weak and worst in me is wiped away
By the currents of truth and strength
